Cookie Policy
Effective date: 12 April 2026 | Last updated: 12 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ToneCooling Technology Co., Ltd (“ToneCooling”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on tonecooling.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember preferences, and provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage, and SDKs; in this Policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
2. Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Requires consent? | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for core site functions such as page navigation, security, and form submission. | No (legitimate interest) | WordPress session, CSRF token, cookie consent state. |
| Functional / preferences | Remember your language, region, or display preferences. | Yes | Language selector, unit selector. |
| Analytics / performance | Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content. | Yes | Google Analytics (_ga, _gid), Google Tag Manager. |
| Marketing / advertising | Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and, with your consent, show relevant content on third-party sites. | Yes | LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel (if enabled). |
3. Consent and Global Privacy Control
When you first visit our site, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set. You can accept all, reject all, or customise your choices. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of the site.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which means third-party tags are blocked until you grant consent. We also honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals for California residents as an opt-out under the CCPA/CPRA.
4. How long do cookies last?
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a period ranging from a few minutes to 24 months depending on the cookie. Our consent record is stored for 12 months, after which we will ask you again.
5. How to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner on your first visit, or the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer to change your preferences.
- Configure your browser to block or delete cookies. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
- Opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Opt out of interest-based advertising at youronlinechoices.com (EU) or optout.aboutads.info (US).
If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work properly.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices change. Please review it periodically. For questions, contact privacy@tonecooling.com.
