Copper cold plate review points
- Higher thermal conductivity can support demanding heat-source layouts
- Weight and cost should be checked against the system target
- Joining route and leak validation must match the drawing
- Coolant chemistry and surface condition should be confirmed
Aluminum cold plate review points
- Lower weight can help module-level design
- Corrosion compatibility needs early review
- FSW or brazing feasibility depends on geometry
- Surface treatment and cleanliness requirements should be defined
RFQ decision inputs
- Material preference or allowed alternatives
- Coolant type
- Heat load and contact area
- Validation and documentation requirement
RFQ checklist
- Drawing, CAD file or thermal specification
- Heat load and heat source map
- Coolant type and inlet temperature
- Flow rate and pressure-drop target
- Envelope, port orientation and mounting limits
- Leak, pressure, cleanliness and documentation requirements
Official Platform References
Use these OEM platform pages as reference context only. ToneCooling RFQ review still requires the customer-approved drawing, module envelope, heat load, coolant, flow rate and pressure-drop target.
FAQ
Can ToneCooling quote without a final drawing?
A final quotation needs enough engineering data for review. If the drawing is not ready, send the closest available footprint, heat load, coolant, flow rate, pressure-drop target and envelope information.
Should platform names such as GB200 or GB300 be used in the RFQ?
Yes, when they identify the project platform. The official platform drawing and customer-approved requirements are still needed before quotation.
Where are ToneCooling data center cold plates manufactured?
Manufacturing is based in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. Regional websites should describe local communication or project coordination only when applicable.
